Swaying and Vacation
So, another question.
We want to sway pink this fall, but I thought this question may help anyone in my situation...
We are going to be on vacation while swaying at Disney world which is not exactly a low anything place (no low bills, amusements, or food...). Should we postpone our sway jump start (6-12 weeks of LE and diet) until after we get back OR can we sway until we leave, take a few weeks and break from trying to get back to LE and then go from there?
I don't think I'll have an issue eating high carb, but I do think there will be a problem with fat (and protein or sodium for that matter ... Some of their offerings on the Disney dining plan... Drool.). So how long does 8 days of violating the diet take to undo or am I better off just waiting until after (which puts us at Thanksgiving and the Holidays) to start?

Do what feels right to you. Personally I would not hold off on diet because of vacation. Swaying should fit your life, not the other way around. One week off diet is fine but I think even at Disney you could stick to LE. The great thing about that place is there are tons of food options, including vegetarian ones which are LE friendly. I went on vacation while swaying and had no problems sticking to diet. I just chose salads, pasta, vegetarian/vegan dishes and still skipped breakfast with no snacking.
Remember: cheats are allowed! Don't feel like you can't splurge, I mean come on girl you're on vacation!

Sway till you leave, do your best while away, and then pick it up when you get back.
Most people find they actually do much better on vacation than they thought they would. When you're on vacation, everything feels like a treat, so you just do your best and you'll very likely be pleasantly surprised how often you're still within the limits for the day or only just barely over them.
I know you've asked this in a different thread but sodium has proven to be totally ineffective and while I keep it in the mix for those who want it, practically all of us have given up on it and our results are higher than ever. I got my girl eating tons of sodium after getting my 4th boy limiting it. I would just let that go totally - and if you can't do that, at the very least let it go whiel at Disney!
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
