I am 5 foot 7....
DS1: I weighed 150 lbs, and was working out moderately and lifting weights. I was not really in shape yet, but had a nice body and looked super nice and fit though I wasn't there yet
DS2: I weighed 170 lbs and had just begun to excerise moderately again to shed DS1's baby weight (there is 3 years between their conceptions) and I was snacking a lot, eating a lot of protein etc
Current pregnancy: I weighed 205 lbs, (I know my BMI is considered "obese"), lots of flab, thick flabby thighs, jiggly arms, baby gut, etc) I did NOT work out, had a sit down job, (with my boys I worked retail and was on my feet moving around 8 hrs + a day). I knew there was no way I could excerise crazily, so I purposely tried to move as little as possible, hoping my heavy weight woudl be an advantage to swaying pink, and lack of muscle tone. Was on a mix of IG / LE diet, and lost about 5 lbs. Will found out gender in 3 weeks, and will update the thread for you scientific research

Hi ladies! I have updated the listing on page 1 as Auroara and Nini have both gotten their gender results. If you haven't contributed your BMIs (and gender of kids) yet, I'd love to add you to the listing.
What's been interesting to observe so far is that boy moms seem to be spread across the whole spectrum -- BMIs from 17s through upper 20s. Whereas the girl moms (just in this sample size, of course) seem concentrated on the low and high ends (currently, there's only one girl mom with a 23ish BMI and then none until 26ish). So it does seem to support the idea of underweight and overweight leaning pink (although both types are certainly represented on the boy listing, so it's no guarantee).
It would be great to get more data from everyone to keep getting a clear picture.2005

I was 21 for both my DS and my DD. I was the exact same weight both times I got pregnant. Both of my kids were conceived during the Christmas season, so during a time of indulgence.

Dramabird, thanks for updating Nini and I!!
That is the one thing I keep taking away from this website and my research in general that extremes seem to sway well with girl, and moderation better for a boy, of course this is a gross generalization, but it seems that it may be leaning in that direction.
Results 31 to 40 of 114
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
