Unhappy How far in advance do I need to make plans?

I'm almost 31 and had my youngest 8 months ago. Ideally I want to just enjoy my boys and not worry about HT until my little guy is around 3, but by then I'll be 34 and verging on "advanced maternal age". Because of that I'm already feeling a lot of pressure to "start the process" sooner than later. Can I just relax for now? What timeframe do I need?

Edited to add: I live an hour or two from the nearest clinic.

The sooner you try, the better. You could do pretestinh soon and see what your reserve looks like today and go from there.

OR do a cycle now and keep the embryos frozen until you are ready.

It's better to look back on life and say: "I can't believe I did that" than to look back and say "I wish I did that".

I think the general thinking with HT is the younger the better, however it also has to work for your family situation.
If you look at the stats, they usually start at under 35 (not that anything catastrophic happens to your fertility on your 35 the birthday lol) but fertility/ quality/ egg reserve numbers etc do decline with age. At 34 you will not be very old (and indeed there have been many ladies over this age who have been OHWs) and could have a great result. I guess the only clue you could get is if you do some pretesting sooner and see what your levels look like?
Personally, I am 31 now and I hope to cycle in about 18 months time. Do what is best for you and your family situation xx
