This is a very helpful Thread NBP. Thanks.
Would you mind answering two more questions? Is birth control pill sufficient for downregulation? And would you recommend a immune protocoll for a first time cycle only to increase chances? Could it cause any harm if you don't need it?

You usually use Lupron and bcp. Sometimes just Lupron but never just bcp.
I would never add anything you didn't need. There has been some recent reports about the use of immune meds having no effect or negative if anything so I would not take more than the minimum you need.Mom to

My doctor told me that I don't have to downregulate. She only advised me to go on bcp. I am very insecure now. Isn't downregulation always needed when you go on the long protocoll? I am afraid to mess it up.

Are you on antagonist protocol? I only did bcp's, followed by a few days of nothing and then started stims. It worked well for me

I did some research on the internet and it really seems to be the antagonist-protocol. My gyn in Germany told me that usually the long protocoll is used after bcp. So I assumed it would be the long protocol. I am reliefed that it can work. Did you use it for your second attempt? I am scared that I might not get enough eggs but I read that it can have a positive impact on the quality.
