On the fence
So we aren't even sure if we are going for another. Just a few days ago I was praying for the chance to sway. Today hubby put HT on the table after me previously thinking it was off due to cost.
So, where's best to go? I've heard you can go to Europe or the U.S. What are the chances for the average couple, who have naturally conceived 4 times, to get lucky with one go? I know I'm not looking at a 100%. What sort of cost am I looking at?
I'm also feeling some guilt around the idea of spending thousands on something that I want. But the idea is so tempting.

Hi there. It is really difficult to give you odds. It really depends. It depends on how old you are, what your pretesting looks like and what clinic you choose.
You need a consult to get your pretesting orders. You can do that for free by using the link on here for Dr Potter. The consult does not obligate you to cycle with him but you will be able to see what your ovarian reserve looks like when you have that pretesting done.
Regarding clinic choice, there is a Clinic in the Czech Republic the girls use that has good success rates and the cost is low. The US will give you the best odds of being a OHW when you factor in everything. It is more expensive though.
We are all fertile. It helps but it by no means success with IVF or that you will fair better than the rest of us. We are all fertile women and depending on those three things above, your odds can be great going in or poor. Read up and get a consult! Good luck!Mom to

Where can I find info on the various clinics? I'd like to get some idea of cost for comparison.
Thanks
