I could never afford the runway types of clothes but I do like to dress sharply when I can. I love a great pair of shoes too!
One of my favorite quotes is from CC, the true Diva of fashion herself though "Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman."
I don't think you have to wear name-brand labels to look sharp either...I can rock a Target top with a great fitting pair of jeans anyday!Mom to

I can't afford designer clothes but I love the look of them. I pay more for DS's clothes because he's fun to dress. If I was pencil thin, I might spend more money on my clothes but boobs ruin the look of everything!

I can't afford run way fashion either. I am a SAHM and live in lululemon.

I hope someone discovers some significance in my wardrobe someday, too.
I buy most of my clothes at Target. I do have to hobknob with those hautie-tauties though due to my job....just the other week at a function, some lady came up and gushed about my dress and I took a large amount of joy in telling her I bought it on the clearance rack at Target for $25! (DH laughs at me because I don't give a crap.) It was just a long red one-shoulder gown, but she thought it was expensive. HA! Go Target!!! But, I do have a girlfriend from childhood who married a rich dude and she just bought her baby girl PRADA baby shoes that were $200! I think rich people are funny.
