Birth Control Pills and Quality of Embryos
I was thinking about using BCP so that I could have more control over when I would like to cycle. Has there been any indication or evidence that taking BCP before cycling will affect the quality or quantity of the embryos retrieved?
Thanks!

Dear bow&ribbons,
BCP's are commonly used by IVF programs to batch their patients' cycles so that they can coincide with the lab or physician availability. I have never heard about any concern that this approach is detrimental for either quality or quantity of embryos. However, this might be a better question for the RE who also answers questions in this forum. Best Wishes, Carole
