pdg for a baby girl!
Hello everyone!
I am a 33 year old mother of four gorgeous boys!
Me and my husband would like to try for a girl using PDG.
I live in sweden and it against the law of ethics to preform pdg/microsort or gender balance techniques.
I have been in contact with multiple clinics around the world and has decided to go to Dr Savas in Genesis clinic, cyprus .
I would love to hear more about this treatment and your experiences with it all.
I hear you have a 33% chance to conceive the first time, is this true?
kind regards palloma!

Hi there and welcome! We have a big population of Genesis cyclers in the Member/Private HT forums. You need to become a Dream Member- $12 annually- to access them. There are lots of International patients there that can help. Yes, around 30% chance at Genesis. The US will give you your highest odds but it is likely more expensive. Hope you'll join us.
The Current Cyclers have Cycle Stickies where you can read how their cycles go there- there is also a Cycling at Genesis sticky in the Private forum with details about travel, etc. We have all of the Cycle Diaries(past cycles) from 2012 through today in there too.Mom to

Thank you for your reply.
I will join the group forum/dream member so I can see how this all works.
I personally think 30% chance is a quite low chance, but I'm willing to give it a try.
Thanks again for your help.

Welcome Palloma. Personally I think 30% is terrible odds. Dr Potter in the US has 83% success per transfer. At your age it would likely only take one trip to get pregnant.
Good luck with your researching. There is so much info and people once you become a Dream Member.Australian couple

Welcome and all the best!
I have been to Dr Potter 3 times, started when i was 32 and he still hasnt gotten me pregnant. The last twice hasnt even given me a chance, every cycle has gotten worse. My pre testing wasnt bad and i conceived my boys 1st time. It is all a gamble regardless of where you go. xx

thats what I think too.
Either you get pregnant (with one or two)
or you don't.
I really think it is up to "him" up there.
And maybe he is making us understand that it is really him that is calling the shots
Joke aside, I am willing to give it a genuine try.
It all seams so complicated though.
I mean I live in the middle of nowhere and for me to find a private clinic seams near to impossible.. I dont mean to be all negative, I am just trying to prepare for the more practical things.
Can I get the medicine prescribed here in sweden do you think?
just to get the cost down, I thought.
I'm so happy I found you people to share the same dream as I am.
People that I have shared this with(excluding my family and husband)
seams to think it is a load of rubbish and that I should be grateful for what I already have(as if I wasn't)

I dont know much about the medicine, I am just starting the process myself. But I think you can get the medicine send to you from wherever you are cycling. Hopefully you will find a way for the meds. It´s good to be able to share your thoughts and dreams with people who understands you. Good luck on your journey
