Does MICROSORT affect the fertilization rate or the quality os the embryos?

    Hi girls,

I am considering IVF/ICSI in Bahceci (British IVF Cyprus). We would do pretesting of the embryos and in addition we are valuating to have Microsort done. I have done one cycle in Clinic C in Prague 5 months ago obtaining 3 healthy embryos, only 1 was XX, we transfered it but didn´t stick.

This will be our last cycle, it seems a good idea having Microsort to increase the chances of XX embryos, but I am concerned, does this method stressed the sperm, causing a lower fertilization rate or worse quality embryos?

I know that with IUI it did seem to stress the sperm, but with IVF you'd be using ICSI anyway (right?) I just want to be sure you're still doing PGD after fertilization and not just relying on MS though because you can still get an opposite with just MS + IVF.
