Another Newbie wanting pink but found out its a blue!
Hi Ladies
great to find this thread! I am expecting my first bambino early April next year. I have been dreaming of a little girl since I myself was a little girl. The hubby and I started trying in July this year and didnt even attempt any of the swaying techniques, I just didnt realise there was so much you could do! We got our positive pregnancy test on our first month of trying. Anyway for 12weeks I thought this little munchkin was a girl, even kept calling it she! I was so desperate to know that I went for the Pink or Blue blood test which is apparently 95% accurate (moreso than a scan) and whaddoya know... its a boy!!! Everyone is super excited including hubby and grandparents as it will be their first Grandchild! I cant help but to feel sort of disapointed (I know that sounds awful) I have now been researching everything to make sure i have a girl next time. I have looked up AI and IVF etc.
Does anyone have any sucessful stories?
Thanks a bunch ladies

I just want to check with you and make SURE that you aren't basing the gender of your babe off the Pink Or Blue test.
Have you had it confirmed with ultrasound? The most recent Pink Or Blue results I know of were completely wrong.
One result was Boy and it was really a Girl.
Another result was Girl and it was really a Boy.
Do you have any scan shots?Age 75

well for the pink blue test i don't know if it is really accurate. But you know it is your first child you will be able to sway for the second. You are here and a lot of advices and help will be given to you. Now i will say wait for the ultrasound at 20 weeks to be 100% sure even this is not 100% sure sometimes but it is more sure than any little gender test you can buy and do. If you have a NT ultrasound pic you can post it in the ultrasound forum and ladies we will work it out to see if you have a nub there. enjoye your pregnancy and welcome!!!!

Welcome
You definetely need a scan to confirm the gender of the baby-I wouldn't trust the pink or blue test 100%.

Welcome!
I agree with all the other ladies here - definitely get the gender confirmed at a 20-wk u/s. This baby could very well be a girl. I wouldn't trust the Pink or Blue test one bit.
Either way though, congratulations on your very first baby! And again, welcome!!2008

Sweet baby boy, you are loved and missed more than you will ever know.
There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wonder what
you would have been like. I love you and miss you so much.
Rest now, my baby, in the loving arms of Jesus.

That test is a gimmick and doesn't work. There's still a chance!
