New and Praying For PINK
Hi ladies, I am new to this whole swaying idea, and my husband is a Dr who doesn't believe in swaying. However, I remind him that he is an eye dr not a fertility specialist so he needs to stick to his own field lol. Anyhow my DH is 32 I am 34 and we have 3 very handsome DS that truly are the light of my life. The only problem is that I have always dreamed of having a daughter. I don't feel like my family is complete yet. However, I have VERY difficult painful pregnancies where my hips stop working and I basically cannot walk. I was on bed rest for 5 months with my last DS, so regardless of gender this will be my ABSOLUTE last chance at having my little dream princess. Like I said my husband doesn't believe in this swaying stuff so he wont do the diet or take the supplements, this will all be on me. I unfortunately do not have the will power to follow the diet so strictly and for health reasons, I don't believe I should. I weigh 108 lbs soaking wet so if I stick to the girl diet I am afraid I would lose too much weight which would cause fertility problems so I have heard, so my sway plan will have to mostly rely on chinese gender chart, new moon, and vinegar/lime douche or rephresh. I am still trying to figure out what is best for me because I only have this one shot!!! I really hope I am one of the lucky ones that gets a beautiful baby girl but in the end I will gladly take a happy healthy baby no matter the gender (I just might have to cry a little first though). TTC this weekend

Hi! I'm new here too and hoping to try for a girl in the new year I had lots of plans but the more I read, the more they either change or get more complicated! Are you doing any charting of ovulation/timing methods? I've read the O+12 method which seems worth a shot, plus the diet and lime etc for me I could do with loosing a few pounds so I don't mind the diet!

Nice to meet you happypixi I feel the same way, it seemed so easy at first but as I continued to read about it the more overwhelmed I became. I don't think I am going to try the O+12 method because I don't know if I can pinpoint the exact time of ovulation. I truly believe the vinegar/lime douche is the best way to sway mostly because my mom did it after having 4 girls she did a baking soda douche and got my little brother. I also believe, for me at least, if I obsess about it and do all these things then the fall will be harder when it is a boy. I just have to tell myself it is going to be a boy, then if it is a girl it will be a happy surprise! I also think I am only going to try this month and next and then stop because all my boys are winter babies, and I don't want another winter baby.

Yeah I'm not sure how to find O down to the hour, and depending on whether I get AF back anytime soon will determine if I do it! I'm very keen to get trying, so thinking of doing the diet soon, then once I achieve the minimum six weeks on it, I will take it from there

Welkome and good luck!
Hi everyone, I gave birth to my first lovely daughter in September. I was wondering what would be the best timing to start trying for another girl? Would that be a year after giving birth, 18 months...
Best timing for ttc girl after...
