trying for blue!
Hi
I'm new to this forum. We have 2 beautiful girls and we would love a boy! We decided we wld try for our third (and last!). I'm new to the idea of swaying, but we were hoping to start trying this month. I'm expecting my period this week. Is it too early? I do already track my ovulation and have ordered preseed for the deed! I am making some changes to diet like lemon water drinks, more meat, will get robitussin tonight, but do you think it is enough? Or too soon to try if I will most likely ovulate in the next 14 or so days? Shld I hold out for next month after more dietary changes or just give it a go?
Thanks! Sorry I don't know any abbreviations haha!

Eat breakfast, make sure you eat protein & carbs at every meal, snack- don't let your blood sugar get low. Exercise with weights is good if you can. There are heaps of resources on this forum, I can't link any as I'm on my phone but if you have a look around you should be able to find tons of info. Good luck xx

Thanks Maria02, are you also hoping for some blue? I'm hoping I haven't left the swaying too late (as in only giving it a couple weeks!)

Hi and welcome!
We've been getting best results with minimum of 6 weeks on diet, if there's any way to hold off just one more cycle you can have a bit of time on diet.
If you are ready to TTC this month that is of course fine too, just be sure you are getting protein and carbs at every meal and snack and are getting most of your fat intake in the form of Omega 3 and saturated fats instead of Omega 6 http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...pink-blue.html!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

thanks atomic! u are a wealth of information! i can only imagine the amounts of happiness that your support and advice has given to a lot of families on this forum! I'm a bit addicted to reading up on everyones journeys and also results etc!
its a great site to navigate. i guess if it is ok to ask, we will try this month with the info i have gathered and if no BFP then i will order a custom sway plan. but i noticed peanut butter seems to appear a lot, is it quite good to sway blue? also if we decided to BD every 3 days from AF, then also when we have a +OPK, and the next day would that suffice?? I want to do it according to your recommendation. I don't actually understand what O-2 and O-3 etc stand for either. Sorry!!!DD 2011

There are no magic foods but some foods may be a little bit better than others and I have a thread here where I "grade" the foods here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ood-guide.html
I believe peanut butter is a good blue food, it's not ~quite~ as good as other nuts and nut butters but still very good for anyone! I ate tons of it when TTC my guys (minimum 3 times a week) and none with my DD. Do be aware that the "old school" sway gurus recommend it for pink because it's supposedly "acidifying" but the acid-alkaline diet is biologically impossible. http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...ph-pickle.html!!!
