overwhelmed newbie here!!
Hi everyone, new to this site, was on IG for some time but them damn monkeys drove me insane!! have tried a very lazy sway before mainly on timings etc. but have 3 boys as a result!! not that im complaining love the bones of them!!. Anyway finally have the dh on board for num 4 and are planning ttc in sept this year (have a small window sept and oct to fall preg so fingers x'd) No trouble conceiving, have had 2 mc's though and a near mis on my last ds. think im going to buy a personalized plan this time because i know this is definitely our last and would love a dd. does anyone know when i should be thinking of getting my mirena coil taken out? should it be months in advance or just before ttc, ive read if you conceive 1st month its out it sways pink?? is that true? ive read so much conflicting info lately my head is fried!! also been reading alot about clomid but not sure that would be for me, id be terrified of ending up with twins!! Anyway looking forward to the next few months, baby dust to all xx

Hi and welcome! I'd wait to get mirena out till the month before you will TTC. That having been said, it may make it take longer to fall pregnant, since you only have a couple months you may not want to use this tactic for your swy.
Timing doesn't work and several of us have gotten DD after getting several boys with Shettles pink timing.
Clomid does sway pink but does raise odds of twins.
Any time there is conflicting info, just ask. WE have explanations for everything that we recommend differently to the other guys.!!! Questions?? Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks atomic, yes shettles clearly wasnt the way to go for me!! when ive been on the pill and then came off, my cycle came back very quickly so im hoping it might be the same. Im a 32 yr old student nurse so the reason i only have the 2 month window is so i could potentially have baby at the start of summer and then not back to uni until start of october. i could stretch the window to 3 months but hoping for less so i dont have to defer any time at uni. I think clomid is a good idea in theory but personally the risk of twins would be a step too far for me and dh. im not pinning all my hopes on this one sway because there is plenty of pro's to having another boy my other 3 are great buddys and another would fit in nicely. however i do have a secret desire to have a little girl she'd be like an alien in our house!! So really either gender would be welcomed but gonna give a sway a good shot and see what happens!! i have lots of weight to lose so going to focus on that for a few months and come back to you for a plan of action!! Well done on the research its very helpful being scientifically minded myself i do love evidence based research but hate sitting down to do it!!!
