Hi all - for some reason I didn't get the notifications for the most recent replies on my post & I haven't been on this site for awhile as life has been crazy!!! Thanks for the helpful info about Clomid, Femara & Vitex!! Good things to consider. I do worry a bit about the multiples thing on Clomid - my husband and I both have twins in our family & since I know I ovulate regularly I feel like I'd be more likely to end up with twins or more on Clomid! I haven't even heard of Femera - will look at that more!
I saw a new OBGYN today - I had some complications in the birth of my last baby & I wanted to get a medical opinion on the safety of having another & how the pregnancy would be managed. Doc was very positive and I'm feeling really excited tonight about starting to plan our sway! My husband is even excited about the idea of swaying - he loves having his boys but he wants a little girl too. I didn't ask the doc about my cycle as we were going over the other issues but I will try to talk to him about it, and I def need to start temping again to figure out what's going on. When I temped with my sons my temp shift at ovulation was clear so hears hoping it is again. My most recent cycle that I just ended was 23 days... Ugh. The one before was 26.
As for temping... my BBT does run really low...Usually between 97.1 & 97.3. I don't have hypothyroidism. Any correlation you've seen between low BBT/ short cycles/ conceiving boys? Just curious!
Thanks!!

There is allegedly a correlation, but it's not proven. The theory is that higher estrogen = more boys conceived and also lower temps. But this has not been proven to my satisfaction at all, and even if there is something to it, swaying will change that up anyway.

You may, but you may not. Sorry, I know that's not much of an answer but this is all very speculative.
I do NOT want you guys obsessing over your temps and skipping months if they aren't "right". We don't even know that temps tell us anything at all!

Sounds good. I'm going to try to start temping again next cycle and will see where things are at
