A FLIPPIN YEAST INFECTION days before my attempt! Help
So I'm literally 4 days away from attempt #2 after months of preparation for my girl sway. Last week I got a yeast infection. It's been EXTREMELY mild though. When I have gotten them they've usually been way worse. Nonetheless its somewhat there. I read Atomic's article about yeast infections and was like aww man! I'm just wondering if I had any options (clinging to hope). I know that with a yeast infection I risk by body raising my pH to get it all the way cleared but I was just curious if I tested my pH and monitored it daily over the next couple of days and find that it's still very low and even possible use a little Aci Jel the day of our attempt if I see a slight raise in pH if that would help? I would hate to have to wait AGAIN especially since it's not even that bad. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks everybody

I wrote that essay ages ago, I no longer really even believe in pH, I"ve just seen too many pH opposites going both ways to believe it.
What I would do is use a little bit of natural yogurt with active cultures as a cream on the outside and a teeny amount just inside the lips of the VJ - it clears it up almost right away and better than the creams do. if you're concerned then yes use some Acijel at time of attempt, not a lot

Thanks Atomic! I actually did that last night! I bought some plain yogurt (non-greek) and put it up there. It wasn't all natural though. I don't really think that worked well. Perhaps because it wasn't plain. Do you think plain greek yogurt will work well too? I have some of that at home. If not, I will go out to my local Whole Foods and get the all natural kind.

Yes it has to be plain, if you use sugar yogurt all you are doing is feeding the yeast.
Plain greek yogurt should also work, it won't be as easy to apply but the point is to get the microorganisms to where they need to be.

Hi, looking for advice. I'm all set with my sway, on day four of my period with what became a very bad yeast infection. I need some OTC meds, which I feel defeated using. I've tried yogurt but that has never proven helpful for me. Will using the 3 day cream hurt my sway?
Thanks!

A lot of the times AF ending is the cure for the infection but I think at this stage of the cycle, even IF the meds sway (which they probably don't) it will be long gone by the time O shows up. I do urge you to hit it with a little yogurt after the cure to repopulate the area with "the good guys" before the yeasties can regrow.
