Swaying Advice Coach
HI and welcome!
I really want you to stress to your husband (or have him read this, hi hubby) that it takes fully fertile couples doing nothing to sway an average of 3-6 months to conceive. It is not fair to expect people to try for a month. I think that's kind of almost worse than nothing TBH. But that's neither here nor there, just that I hope he changes his mind.
What I want you guys to do is be having unprotected intercourse every 4 days starting as soon as AF ends. This will cover you in case of unexpected early O (which can happen) and then as per our other conversation, have another attempt on O-2. This is actually more attempts than I told you to have in the other thread but that was before I knew this was the only month you could try. We have to have a decent chance of conception this month if this is our only shot.

Oh atomic, trust me...I've tried! The fact the he's even willing to try this month is huge. He went from 100% no way, to maybe, to "okay but just one month". I am really hoping that it happens this month, but if not, I'll beg and plead to get another month. But I know that the odds are stacked agains me, which is why I'm so very happy and blessed to have found this forum and you!

I know, DH would really love to have a son, but since there's such a large age gap, we figured it would be better for a little sister to have older sisters and hopefully all be very close one day. Maybe that's not right, but just seems what we find with our friends that have large gaps. Would love any insight otherwise if people have other experiences?

I think what you choose to sway for/age spacing is best in whatever way you have. I'm one of 3 sisters, and I did definitely help take care of my youngest and she's very close with me to this day (we're almost 8 years apart).
In terms of swaying -- I feel like you might have it down, haha? What were you doing and eating before your other DDs? Timing is way more iffy in terms of how it sways (as in, not really; number of attempts seems closer, like atomic said), so I'd say, "How was your lifestyle before your girls?" to figure out how to work your sway.

Do you think your husband would be willing to TTC for more than a month if you weren't swaying for a girl?
