Looking to sway blue this month after 5 pink!!!
Hello new to this site so not quite sure what im doing..
I currently have 5 girls and desperate for a little boy!!
I have brought opks and the clear blue smiley ones..
I have added tons of meat, potatoes, veg and salt also snacking on peanuts, pork scratchings into my diet
Taking folic acid, fish oil, and concive plus tablets before conception.. im adding bannans and hopefully going to bd every 2-4 days protected and then dtd unprotected 12 hours after first +opk then again the next morning and night my dh is also taking multi vitamins does this sound like in doing enough for my sway?? I cant stand eating breakfast so cant add this. Thanks.

HI and welcome!
I would be careful going too overboard with the peanuts and pork scratchings (we call these pork rinds in America, for those who are curious). While they're ok in moderation (I certainly had plenty of peanut butter when I conceived my boys) they do have a lot of Omega 6 type fats in them, and studies have shown that whenever you eat more Omega 6 than Omega 3 (the type of fat that is more prevalent in red meats and fish, dairy, walnuts, coconut oil, olive oil) it may sway pink. So since both peanuts and pork scratchings can be very high in Omega 6, you may be putting yourself at a disadvantage to have those too often because you'd really have to eat a LOT of Omega 3 fats to then make up for the Omega 6's. Now, its fine to have some Omega 6, and peanuts are fine (I see no benefit whatsoever to pork scratchings for blue) but you probably should take caution to keep them within lower levels and not have them to excess.
We haven't found salt to be an effective blue sway tactic. it's fine if you want to use it but please don't exceed a reasonable sodium intake of 5000 mg a day.
Are you taking prenatals or multivitamins?

Bananas are not a magic boy making food. The only reason anyone ever says "eat bananas" is because bananas have potassium. But LOTS of fruits and vegetables have more potassium than bananas do, by far, plus many other nutrients bananas do not have. Bananas are basically just sugar, starch, potassium, and that's about it. it's a bunch of calories you're "spending" to get potassium and nothing else while ignoring all the other yummy fruits and veg out there that will give you even more potassium plus other good nutrients and all for lower calories than bananas have.

I am not a fan of Pregnacare for men or women. Pregnacare has massive amounts of B Vitamins which may really mess up your cycle and we are unsure how they affect hubbies. For you it has L-rginine which we've seen lots of opposites and really disrupted cycles for people taking that. Additionally the Pregnacare has inositol for you and ginseng/creatine for DH and inositol sways pink, the ginseng and creatine are unknowns and may harm his overall sperm health.
The folic is fine, take the fish oil every other day instead of daily.

Ahhh, have i messed up the sway by taking these should we both stop taking these? And i just take the folic acid and fish oil? Is there any thing i can get dh to take to sway blue for us? 5 days away from suspected O day xx

Yes I'd have you wean off those ones and onto the Centrum. Don't do it suddenly, just take a few weeks to gradually reduce the one while increasing the other at the same time (if that makes sense LOL) There's nothing to be gained 5 days before O by dropping one and starting the other, just do this gradually over the course of time.
I generally recommend giving DH either the over 50 men's Centrum or over 50 men's One a Day. Both are good.
