Oh yes I suspect the myo at that dose may have caused your cycle to go haywire. I'd wean back to 2000 for the rest of this cycle, and then next cycle, take 2000 during the follicular phase and 1000 during the luteal phase.
Have you taken a pregnancy test??

Sorry for the late reply as been away for the weekend with no WiFi. Basically, af arrived the day I posted so it was likely the high levels of myo that made it wack. I have reduced it now to 2g and will reduce it again as you say. Would I then raise it again during the follicular phase?
Also, with such a long cycle I don’t know when to start opks. My aim is ttc anytime from next month but is all dependent on my cycle and where I’m at.

Ok, I'm on cd7 and this is the month I would like to have our first attempt. I'm not sure anymore whether to stick with one attempt at positive OPK or go e4d. When I practiced using ovulation strips last month I had a faint line on one day, the day after it was darker (but not positive) and then gone the next day so I missed the surge. I tend to have one day out of every month where I have ewcm and increased sex drive. That was the same day I had the darker line.
I worry about missing the LH surge again if I go with one attempt at positive OPK, plus my cycle length varies hugely so it's impossible to predict which day I'll ovulate. But statistically, if I choose the e4d pattern, does that drastically lower the odds of conceiving a girl?

Oh no so sorry I must have closed before replying the last time.
Yes you raise the Myo again during follicular phase (if you want) OR you can do 1000 in FP, 500 (or every other day) in the LP.
I always want you guys to start OPK earlier than the soonest you could possibly O. I know it's irritating with a longer cycle but you never know the next one might be short.

I think e4d might also be a good idea. No, it doesn't drastically lower the chances of pink. I can't truly compare them because I have people only go to e4d after a few months of trying, but we are getting still very good results with e4d right now.

I'm really having trouble deciding now! The controlling side of me wants to do one attempt positive OPK because that method is 'best' and it means peeing on a stick every day so I see actual results and know when it's 'time'. But e4d would be a lot more relaxing and straightforward if I could let go enough not to use opks, as it would stress me out if I got my positive result on a non bd day!

All the more reason to do e4d! that "wanting to see results" is that control freakishness that may sway blue!

I've decided to go with e4d as it seems to be the better option for a number of reasons. If we started last night, do we bd again on tues or weds? I thought weds but then I've seen other posts suggesting otherwise?

For best odds of conception, count it every 72 days. For best odds of pink count it every 96 hours (or so please don't get too hung up on the amount of hours)

Update -
So I did a hpt yesterday and got a BFP! I ended up having a long cycle and a gap of about 10 days with no attempts after initially following the e4d pattern. Then on CD 31 I took an OPK after noticing signs of ovulation, and it was positive so I got in one attempt then!
Feel truly blessed to have caught this egg. Now need some luck for the journey ahead.

Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
