TTC for baby number 2 help needed
Hi atomicsage and everyone
I am new here and really wish to have yours and everyone else guidance. I have a lovely 16 month year old girl and really praying hard for a boy this time.
I am new to all this so any piece of advice will b very helpful. Want to start trying next month.
My cycle is fairly regular. My period date is on 24 July which would make my ovul on 6th Aug. What else information can I give so you can guide me. This site is very helpful however because I have been researching so much I'm quite overwhelmed with the amount of information and don't know what to follow and what to leave.
There is stuff like moon phases then bedding on ovul peak

Hi and welcome!!
I would recommend you do some kind of sway diet and exercise program before trying - are you set on starting this month??

Thankyou so much for replying. I am ready to do anything for a boy sway. We plan to have our kids not far apart. I can miss the month of August and probably start trying in September. Ovulation is first week of September. And I don't know about this TTC but last time we conceived on the second try.
How often should we Bd when trying? On ovulation day and next day? Does that help in getting boy. Also what can I do in this one month that will help me in terms of diet. With a toddler I hardly get time to exercise but I go on walks daily and I am a vegetarian but can have egg.
Your reply made me so relieved as I have been feeling really anxious. Kindly guide me. So many blessings your way to you and your family

How close is close spacing between your kids??
We are finding that having kids very close together may sway pink, so I am hoping that your little toddler is at least one year old.
6 weeks on diet is enough for blue so if you were to try in Sept. that would be just dandy!
I posted a diet link in your other thread for you. You can absolutely do the HE Diet as a vegetarian, just focus on eggs, nuts, legumes, and dairy if you eat it. Keep soy foods to 2-3 times per week.
keep drinking tea, that got me 4 boys!
In terms of the pattern of sex, do you want to use the Shettles timing method or are you ok with not including that??

Hi Atomic
Yes yes my toddler is 16 months so hope that won't be a factor.
I will start the diet to as best I can. And in terms of timing ..yes I do want to include shettles method just to b on safe side.
Would that mean having sex on O then 0+1 and 01 night meaning 3 times in a span of 2 days.
Does position make a difference.
What supplement shall I tell DH to have? Centrum men's multivitamin
I am taking prenatals and vit d

Ok great that's excellent spacing.
You would need to have sex on O-1 (at night), then in the morning of O Day and again in the night of O Day if that is at all possible. Then if possible you can have an attempt the day after you think you've ovulated then every other day to guard against delayed ovulation.
DO NOT have 3 attempts O-1, night of O Day, and then following day. That is extremely risky for a boy as in some cases that can end up as the O-1 attempt the only viable attempt, and one attempt sways strongly pink. And absolutely positively DO NOT have attempts only on O Day and after O Day because that for sure would only be one attempt.
Yes men's Centrum (and the over 50 one is even better than the normal Centrum, if he'd be willing to take that.)

Thanks Atomic...in regards to pattern of sex I've understood and will follow as listed.
Just in terms of diet I want to ask if I'm following everything right.
In morning I'm having
Tea with 2 biscuits
Eggs I'm having 3 to 4 times in a week for breakfast
And sometimes cereal
And my lunch dinner mostly consists of rice lentils chickpeas kidney beans( all protein rich) and sometimes cottage cheese
For snacking I've started having nuts coconut water fruits like banana apple
And in vitamins I'm having prenatal and vit D .
Do you think all this good enough. You have been so helpful..really appreciate it.
Really can't wait to begin our journey in September. Had it not been for you would have started in August but I'm glad I came across this website. Kuddos to you for putting sucha brilliant effort.

I think I posted more for you in the other thread you asked questions in about diet.
But tea with biscuits alone may not have enough protein. You want some protein and fat at every meal and snack if possible. So I would add in some nuts or nut butter or have eggs/cheese every morning with the biscuits if possible.
What kind of milk are you having on the cereal??
I'm so happy to help!!!
