While you could definitely have short cycles prior to menopause it is also possible (and I've seen it hundreds of times) where people have some kookoo cycles and then it normalizes again, OR that they get pregnant even with really wild cycles. I'm sorry, I wish I had the ability to fix this for you but it's up to what your body is going to do now.

Thanks Atomic!
I just feel so lost! I always get hopeful and then I ovulate like in CD 6!
I was going to ask for progesterone since it seems mine is not above 10 for long according to these strips but that's unlikely the issue as I always remember you saying that a healthy pregnancy will produce adequate progesterone

Here's the thing. There is what it says in studies, and then there is you walking away feeling like you have done everything in your power. Some people (like me, usually) can read a study and say "ok that doesn't work, I won't bother" and be fine with that. Other people want to feel they've tried everything just in case, and honestly, the amount of times studies turn out to be wrong, it can absolutely pay off. There is no right or wrong way, the progesterone is fairly harmless. I understand why people want to do the progesterone, all I'm doing is just telling you guys what the science seems to indicate. Then you should do what makes YOU feel happiest about it all.
