- Randomly last weekend my DH who is 34 (I am 30) revealed to me that he would like to try for a girl... this revelation was very unexpected since he is booked in for a vasectomy for August! Our current family consists of a DS (10) of mine from a previous relationship and a DS (3) together but I secretly dreamed of having a girl. Since discussing and deciding to try for a girl I have started planning everything I can for my sway!
