pregnant and breastfeeding
I am currently breastfeeding my 6 month old and just found out I am pregnant. It is super early but I can tell she is already getting frustrated waiting for the letdown. She has even bit me a few times!! Only ha 2 bottom teeth but it hurt like heck!!!! So I was wondering if anyone has successfully breastfed through pregnancy? Did you take anything? Have to supplement?

I did, twice!! Just keep nursing as much as you can and while you do make less than normal, I found them to be willing to keep nursing all along. I did find that switching back and forth from side to side a few times during the feed, helped. I think the milk would build up a little in the meantime and get them interested.

Thank you Atomic, That is what I have been doing, switching from side to side. She is just so young, I hope my supply stays. I started giving her a little bit of solids, avocado, sweet potato and apples. Hopefully that will help a little. Still can't believe it!!
