Pregnancy tests
Ok so this is probably a question that I know the answer to but just for fun.
Do any of these old wives tales or homemade pregnancy tests actually work? Specifically the salt one? Haha
I dont even know when or if I ovulated but seem to have had my usual pms symptoms, just a lot worse. I just can't bring myself to take a test right now. Im probably not and I actually seem to always have symptoms each month and convince myself I am but not! Lol.
So just seeing if anyone did anything specific for fun and found any accuracy to it.

No, unfortunately, they don't work.
Sore bbs?? That's always been the sure sign for me.

I never have sore boobs so its never a sign for me. I have had a lingering neck and headache and tired but its also a pms symptom.

Oh, bummer! What about vaginal discharge?? That's often a very early sign for some people. FXFXFX!

You know its strange im usually an oddball...lol I usually have discharge when I'm not pregnant and never any when I am, which I currently have none. I guess I will see how I feel in a week. I had some progesterone strips that I took and had one or two positives before I ran out but I don't feel like they are super reliable.
Im trying not to symptom spot at all because it usually gets me heartbroken..I just feel different. I had cramps and a backache last week, swore af would be here anyday...just waiting to see. I have been having a hard time sleeping and feeling hot and pressure headaches...so it could also be symptoms of perimenopause .

Well its cd 35. No Af, still low temps, as I just started tracking to see. So I am quite sure I haven't ovulated. I really really hate long cycles..they are awful.
I just dont quite understand how my body goes from cd 6 ovulation to cd 35 and nothing.
So question, its probably not a good idea to take soy isoflavones without us?
And I have a script for progesterone, mine seems to be lower, probably from low egg quality or whatever so I figured it couldn't hurt to use. Should I use it IF I ovulate this cycle or just wait.
So bummed at my body. Im just not ready to give up on a baby.

Yes for the same reason we don 't want to take Clomid without ultrasound - if you take it at the wrong time of month it can cause an ovarian cyst that may then prevent ovulation for 1-3 months afterwards.
Progesterone doesn't hurt as long as you take at right time of month, it's just that it hasn't been shown to help really, but as we all know at some point it's time to start throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Bump
Not sure where to ask not TTC
