If you had gestational diabetes...
Moms who had gestational diabetes are at an increased risk for developing diabetes even years later, so you should be tested on a regular basis.

I have had it twice now & will probably get it this time too. I was naughty & didnt get it checked after I had #5. It is a pain during pregnancy.

I had what you call Pregnancy-induced hypertension (typically what leads to pre-ec). It did not go after delivery. It went undiagnosed for months until I noticed heavy swelling. I was on medication for over a yr, then diet and exercise helped me go off medication.
I didnt know same holds fo gestational diabetes, good to know.
