I don't know if its normal, but I had that with DS2 as well.
I had a bleed at 10 weeks and the doctor told me that I was about 1-2 cm open and that it was my mucus plug that kept going. He said he could see my plug was thinner than what he'd expect, but that I wasn't to worry about it as it kept regenerating.
I kept loosing that darn plug through out the pregnancy (seriously yucky - I mean, loosing it once is one thing, but through out the pregnancy is ... blurgh!). It never had any repercussions for me, but I'd mention it to my midwife/GP if I was you. Just in case.
Having lots of CM is very normal in pregnancy tho - but big EWCM blobs like that sounds like the mucus plug going in small bits. It's probably just because it's not your first time so your cervix isn't as closed as it was the other times.2005 2008 2010 2014 2015
Hoping for another baby girl in 2016/17

I have had loads of discharge in this pregnancy - some days just creamy but some really watery and loads of it. Not sure about lumps but everything seems to be ok with me. If you are worried call the midwives - ours work on a Sunday - someone should be able to call you back if you leave message. The mucus plug does replace itself - don't sit there worrying though as they can re assure you x

Mine changes all the time. I go through stages with lots of discharge, mostly EWCM. Sometimes it's creamier and less abundant. All three of my pregnancies have been like this. I never gave it a second thought. I think it's all the changes your body is going through. Your hormones are all over and naturally that is going to cause some different reactions. (I am 17+2, and baby is healthy, if that helps at all).

-Our rainbow little man (K: 2011)
-Our sway and pray little diva (J: 2013)

We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

My doula once told me your body is making more mucous just everywhere when pregnant bc of hormones ( my sinuses bother me more too when pregnant ) so I always assumed it was normal (of course that's w out foul odor , blood etc) then id be concerned

I've had loads with this pregnancy to, none with any of the others - some thick some watery and some clumpy - pretty gross and was worrying me but have had on and off since bfp, although i has been worse since my cvs but no bleeding or anything as of yet. Pretty gross though
