Natural Headache Cure
I was wondering if anyone has a natural cure/help for headache pain? I am having almost blinding headache pain and hate to take anything especially in first trimester, but it is getting bad. Not against meds, but just prefer to tough it out/ try other stuff first.

I found drinking much more then the regular 2 litres per day of water was required. More like 3 litres per day. And rest/sleep! The more tired I am the worse the headaches are. I'm in bed at the same time as the kids at night. There has been maybe 2 times that I've resorted to panadol so far. If it gets bad enough then panadol is safe and doctors recommend it. If the natural things arn't working then I go with panadol. But like you ladies I prefer to avoid meds where I can.

I get very bad headaches and I hold an ice pack (like a toddler uses...Elmo, Dora gel thing ) on my head and try for a bath with something warm on my forehead (cluster headaches) with some ecyluptus (I know thats spelled horribly wrong) in the water. It does help. ((hugs)) Its really hard to cope with a painful head! GL xx

Yeah like the other said make sure your getting enough fluids and sleep, low iron can cause them too. Just make sure your looking after yourself maybe a multivitamin if you not all ready taking it. A hot cold compress sometimes help, and massage your head. temples and upper nose to relieve some pressure! I am like you I hate taking anything when pregnant! Paracetamol is about all I can take but my friend had them in her pregnancy's too and the doctor prescribed something stronger. I am sure if you asked your mid wife/Dr they could give you some herbal tea idea's/tinctures but really I think the paracetamol would probably be safest it is only tree bark and proven to be safe and work !
Hoping for a pink rainbow!
