This cough is killing me!

I was battling a cold while TTC, which went away, but is now back again. I have a horrible tickling cough which keeps me up all night, plus makes me cough all day at work. I am taking cough drops, which the doc said were OK, but also said I could take regular Delsym or Robitussin. Anyone have any ideas for anything else that would work or help? Is herbal lemon tea OK?

I was told by my SIL (and have since read about it too) that if you rub plenty of Vicks vapour rub (do you have that in the US?) onto the soles of your feet and cover with socks that somehow it stops tickly annoying coughs. I tried it with my son when his cough lingered and it worked a treat! Google it!

I like butter menthol lollies, i suck them all day with a sore throat.

I don't think I've heard of butter menthol lollies.... I wonder if they are in the US?

We do have Vicks here. Is that safe during pregnancy?

I saw my GP today and he gave me Flonase for the drip and an inhaler. I thought it was January that I first went in with this, but it was actually November!
