Folic Acid - When to reduce the dose?
Hi
I'll be 6 weeks pregnant next week. I've been taking a higher dose of folic acid since being on LE diet, following Atomics advice for older mums! Dose is 2400mg. Since my bfp I've also added in a pre natal with another 400mg of folic acid.
What I would like to know is, should I decrease the dose? By how much and when?
Thanks for your help.

end of first trimester. start spacing doses farther and farther out till you're down to amoutn in prenatal. that level is safe to continue thru entire pg
