2 to 3 children
My ttc no 3 journey begins very soon & just interested in people's stories from going from 2 to 3 children? I found 1 easy 2 was hard for me as I had post natal depression but I feel really excited for my 3rd and final baby to be......even if I have PND again I know how I to deal with it. My 2 boys are 6 & 3 at the mo but will be 7 & 4 when we have our third. Looking forwards to hearing your stories x

2 to 3 children
I found two very hard as well- maybe bc I suffered from GD? I think so. Most of the ppl I know with three claim it's worse than two but they also had a PP so it can't be the same for them. Nothing is worse than GD! My sister actually told me the other day to "think very hard about a third child". Like she has the right to an opinion about it! She was blessed with a pp and then had a third (another girl) and always complains about her 3 kids, how hard it is blah, blah. I told her to shutup. Lol. Makes me sick! Don't complain about your two daughters and son. Be grateful you don't have to suffer with GD.

Going from 2-3 was my easiest transition. He just fit right in. 3-4 was easy as well but not as easy as 2-3 because DS3 didn't appreciate having a new sibling.

I totally think it has to do with the kids' personalities. I never actually had all 5 of mine little at the same time (because my first 2 and second 3 are separaated by 13 years) I did find going to 2 difficult both times, but my 1st and 3rd are my two difficult ones. They just didn't react very well. But adding the 3rd was easy, because my 4th son was easy and the baby was easy.

If the baby is difficult, it will be hard.

I found it really easy to go from two to three. I think the big leap for me was the first one! The main thing I did with DS3 was set up a routine really early as I knew that sleep deprivation would make being a good mum impossible. I'm lucky to have never suffered from post natal depression, which I actually put down to taking chromium supplements as it's been shown that babies take up to a third of your body's stores of chromium and a lack of it can cause depressive symptoms. Anyway, I'd say have the number of children you want to, trust yourself to be a great mum and enjoy.
