In a word, no.
My friend has 5 girls and said all of her pregnancies were different from no symptoms whatsoever to food craving, pica on another and horrible all day morning sickness for half of her pregnancy for her last.

NO! My girl and DS 2 pregnancies were the most similar. The other three were all over the map. Like bunny mentions I had pica with one, threw up every day with one, terribly sleepy with another one - no rhyme or reason to it, all boys.

I truly think it depends on the individual person. Right now, personally, yes I noticed differences. Perhaps my next pregnancy will teach me that it was all a coincidence But just on my experience up to date, yes there were differences.

Mommymachine- what were your differences? I've had 2 girl pregnancies and this one is very different.

No, I don't think so. I've known heaps of girl mums with no symptoms at all and heaps of boy mums that were as sick as a dog. I really don't put much stock into this. I've only had one pregnancy so have nothing to compare, but I was pretty sick with it and emotional, which I think is meant to signal a girl? Anyway, I had a boy

So far all my pregnancies and their symptoms have been different! In fact each pregnancy has felt worse each time. dS1 nausea and heart burn. Ds2 sick everyday till 17 weeks and migraine headaches every evening but no heart burn. This time I have had all the other symptoms combined. No pattern and don't believe in the old wives tales (fell for that with DS2, he was all boy at my scan!!!)

My boys felt different than my girl, right from week 1. I felt great with my boys but was sick the whole pregnancy with my girl. Could be coincidence, hard to say!

Sick for much longer with my girls than I was with my boys (with DS2 and 3 I was barely sick at all). This is the main difference. I also had heartburn with them but not with the boys.
