Freaking out...help!
I'm 5w6d and tonight I noticed some light brown cm. No cramping yet other than the stretchy type pains I usually get. I'm shaking I'm so scared this is a bad sign. I took a cheapie test this morning and it's still very dark. I have my ultrasound tomorrow but I know it may be too early to see anything. Is this normal?? Please give me some reassurance. I'm on the verge of crying. I don't want to have four losses in a row...please please no.

Thank you ladies. I didn't have anymore bleeding last night and so far today haven't had any. I'm still nervous though! Just a few more hours until my ultrasound.

It is sooo nervewracking but 9 times out of 10 is coming from a little owie on your cervix and not up inside. Your cervix is really soft right now and a lot of blood flow, so even something like straining for #2 can cause a little wound, and with the increased discharge it can make it show up more than it otherwise would.

Had my ultrasound!
Thank you all for the reassurance. Just got back from my appointment and we saw baby! Seeing the tiny flicker on the screen just made my day! We got to hear the heartbeat and it was nice and strong. I'm due Christmas!

Great news! What an awesome Christmas it will be!!!
Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
DS1: Aug 2003 (my first home birthed water baby!)
DS2: May 2009 (my second home birthed water baby!)
Oct 2014
July 2016: Laproscopic surgery to remove a ping pong ball sized endometrioma on left ovary and 3 pea size fibroids on outside of uterus. Hysteroscopy to remove one larger "penetrating fibroid" inside uterus.
Oct 2016: Heartbroken after DH's vasectomy. Looks like my dreams of a daughter are gone.
