Yeah, that's a lot of fish oil - we can never know the cause but it can't be helping. 3x a week for now, and please, please keep me posted on this as it develops. It can fix itself but we need your blood to clot a little better than it has been.

Huge thanks! Next ultrasound is Friday, will definitely keep you posted. Please let me know if there is anything else I should try to better clot.

WE don't want you to do a 180 and now take things that make your blood clot, either, so no Dr. Google! We need to just let your body clear this up on its own by allowing it to do that, dialing back on the fish oil and taking it easy and then it will work itself out over the course of time. I have actually handled this a few times before and had good success with this approach so please do not panic and drop the fish oil totally, or start taking things that make your blood clot more, this is a gentle, gradual thing.

Hi atomic! I finished my ultrasound and wanted to follow up. Most importantly, baby is growing right on track and has a healthy strong heartbeat at 163 bpm. So very happy to see that! The SCH is "slightly smaller" than last Friday, and the doctor noted that the blood looked more "old" than it appeared in the last ultrasound (something about the color on the image indicates if the blood is fresh or old - it was black this time versus gray on the image last time). I did have some spotting this morning, which was brown. I'm still on full pelvic rest, which is not great, but it does seem to be working. Thoughts on where to go from here?

Perfect, that's exactly what we want to see.
Keep going at the 3x a week intake of the fish oil. Still continue avoiding the things we talked about, especially the fresh garlic.

I'm trying to increase my intake of fruits and veggies to aid in healing the hematoma. I'm not a huge fruit or veggies person, think drinking this once a day is ok? Wasn't sure about lavender. I'm also having a glass of fresh oj in morning. This bedrest is getting the best of me and I'm determined to shrink this hematoma as quickly as possible!!

No let's not take the chance. We just don't know what the effects would be. Vit. K causes blood to clot which sounds like "oh we should totally do that" but remember, having your blood clot too easily may be bad too, and we want your body to just maintain right where it is until it's cleared things up.

Okay, so should I try to take in more whole fruits and veggies as well, or just maintain my diet as is cutting out garlic, pineapple, nuts, etc.?
Hello, Atomic hopefully you will see this! It has definitely been a while. I am not TTC, my cycles have been MIA for over a year, I'm quite certain. I have not been charting but haven't had it....
Not sure where to ask not TTC
