Drop back on the fish oil to 2x a week. Did it seem new??

She couldn't tell me either way. It might have been there prior and the other tech didn't see it. Augh really hope it's not a new one.

Ok. Sometimes they can tell by the color. Let's go to 2x a week and keep taking it easy.

They both seemed black on the screen as opposed to grayish the first time I went (which I guess indicates older blood)? It was a different tech so I guess I won't know either way for sure until my next appointment on 9/14. I'm still spotting and on modified bedrest. Really not moving around much in hopes that I can get this to go away sooner. Keep you posted after that next appointment.
One question on opinion. I've told my side of the family the complete situation, but my husbands side doesn't know I'm pregnant yet. They are judgmental and no matter what I do, they'll blame the hematoma on something I "did". When is the right/safe time to let them know the news, after my 12 week scan? Not sure what the risk of miscarriage is past that, but I'd like to be as conservative as possible with telling them while still balancing not offending them by telling them in the second trimester. Anyone?

I think between now and your next scan it's going to be very obvious if things are moving in the right direction. I think they are, but I want more closure with what the doc is telling you before you start telling people who may not react ideally. I don't think you're going to have to wait any longer past that point anyway, so my advice would be to play it by ear and see what they say at the next scan, and make up your mind at that time.

Thanks atomic! Spotting isn't letting up, but as long as it's not red I'm trying not to freak. The worst part is bedrest for me. I'm very active and this is torture. But obviously well worth it! Reduced fish oil to 2x/week. Should I take 2 capsules (recommended on bottle), or just one at a time?

Have you been taking 2 capsules all the time??
Since you just cut back to 2x a week take the 2x one more, and then go to one.

Yes, I started taking 2 capsules per the bottle recommendation as soon as I got a bfp, which of course I didn't know about the hematoma at the time. I've been taking 2 each time, 3 times per week but reduced to 2 times a week. Should I go ahead with one pill twice a week now?
