Ok, deep breath.
A lot of people have things like this and then most of them turn out perfectly fine. The problems with notches is when it's still there LATER (more like 22-24 weeks) and not at 12 weeks. So, it's likely nothing, will probably go away, and if not they'll give you aspirin and stuff but don't eat yourself up worrying over this, it happens in lots of pregnancies and is very, very likely to be gone by the time the 22-24 week mark is reached.
