    Low thyroid first trimester.

Anyone have low thyroid levels during first trimester?
I just got back my panel of blood work and my non pregnant thyroid went from 1.1 to 0.01 at 11 weeks preg.
I called my clinic and they told me not to worry about the affects of low thyroid on baby but after having low thyroid last pregnancy and losing my baby I am terrified.
Anyone have any advice on this?
I have an apt tomorow with my family Dr to hopefully get more answers.

Hello, yes I had this with my first. Everything was fine with baby. I never had thyroid issues until then but I'm now on tyroxine every morning. I had bloods checked every 8 weeks to make sure the dosage was correct. It would go high and then low sometimes but once he was born it became a lot easier to manage.

Yup! I'm routinely run that high (in thyroid world, low TSH is actually "high" or hyper, lol). If you were very concerned, you could have your FT3 and FT4 run as well. But know that .01 TSH is actually HIGH, not low! And hypothyroid levels (which would be like 4 or 5 in pregnancy) are what's concerning. YOU might just feel affects though even if baby is fine (like heart palps, sleep disturbances, etc.)

So my free T4 was tested too and it came back normal... not sure if that's the same test?
And ya I have heart palps and insomnia but thought it was the fertility meds
