Losing a lot of weight before swaying pink
I know that simply being in the process of losing weight while conceiving helps to sway pink, and I believe Atomic has said dropping as little as 3-5 pounds before conceiving sways pink. It seems like most pink swayers who have followed the LE Diet dropped a little more than 3-5 pounds (more like 8-15 or so, I believe)...but I'm wondering about those of us (err, ME :)) that have a LOT of weight to lose. Does losing a large amount of weight (say, 30, 50, or more pounds) over a larger period of time still sway pink by the time you actually get around to conceiving? I guess I'm just worried that my body will re-adjust to the weight loss happening over a long period of time, and then consider that it's new "normal," and it won't send as much of a message to my body that it's in declining conditions.
Anyway, I've lost 40 pounds now, with the ultimate goal of losing another 40 by the time I start TTC. In the end, it will have taken me 9 months to get off 80 pounds - with some up-and-down "yo-yo-ing" in the middle there. Will my body still consider this a decline in its condition, or will the effects of the weight loss not be as dramatic as it would be if I had dropped a relatively smaller amount of weight in a smaller time frame?
I don't know if I explained any of that right...does this make sense? :worry:
