I didn't sway with DS1, but was eating potatoes 3-4 main meals a week (either salted and buttered mashed potatoes, or salted and oiled roast potatoes or chips). We had pasta or pizza the rest of the time.
Well our dinner meal is always meat and potatoes and is one banana a day lots of bananas over the length of time you sway for example 10 weeks
I'd say that's plenty!
Potatoes and bananas are ok but actually, they have a LOT of calories for the nutrients you get. I think rather than eating loads and heaps of potatoes and bananas, you focus on getting potassium from other things such as tomato juice that's very low cal, and/or nuts, which are higher cal but have a lot of other good nutrients in them. You'll gain a lot of weight very quickly on a boy diet eating too many potatoes and bananas.
I don't really like bananas and don't eat them very much, maybe one every two weeks if we have one no one else ate. I do like potatoes and when I got my boys I ate prob. 3 (or the equivalent in mashed/scalloped/fries) a week.
I hate bananas so didnt eat any of those but ate potatoes in some form with dinner every night and hash browns for breakfast
:)) just never eat to much of any food
I was having 1 banana daily and skipped on the potatoes because i was watching carbs, i was having sweet potato instead. I would make muffins, smoothies, etc with the bananas because i got sick of them straight up pretty quick, my fav was actually toast with peanut butter and sliced banana. I ended up on the diet for 12 months and i haven't looked at a banana since!
