I cycled in the US and one thing I learned from PGD is that, yes gender is 99.9% guaranteed, but its the getting pregnant part that is the 30-50 percent. And even if your RE quotes you 80% chance of pregnancy, that means nothing, or if they say 10% chance, people still get pregnant. So one major thing I learned is that the percentages for a pregnancy from IVF definitely vary, and it was a year and 3 cycles later with no pregnancy so we are back to square 1 and back to our original plan of swaying.
If I had unlimited money, and could deal with the emotional roller coaster of it all, I would do it again, but it was definitely stressful and emotional, and I was telling my husband, we said 2 cycles, and thats it. We had 2 fresh cycles and 1 frozen transfer, and it was a lot emotionally for us both. Maybe you can read up on the HT forum as well, there is a LOT of info there, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to msg me :)
