When I see birth programs from usa on tv they often show a lot of babies lying in one room without their parents and I think they said its for observation. It is like that in USA?

I think it depends on the hospital. In ours, the baby stays with you. They don't even give them a bath for a few hours so you can nurse and bond. They have the nursery available so if you want them to take the baby so you can get some rest or shower, they will. I tend to keep the baby with me the majority of the time, but then at night I'll ask them to take him for a few hours so I can get a little sleep, then bring him back when it's time to eat.

Yes they didnt give my dd a bath either:) They said its also better for the baby to not have a bath right away because of protection of the skin or something like that:) They took my dd too for a little while in the (first) night because I asked for it (she didnt want to sleep and I had been up for like 48 hours ) We talked to an other hospital today that seems good so maybe ill give birth there :)

My next scan is June 13th.
I'm happy with 4 boys now and actually really finding the idea of a 5th boy in the future very appealing. Not sure if its a coping mechanism for the future or what but I actually feel now that I prefer boys LOL I feel like I just let myself get carried away at the beginning of this pregnancy with the dreams of a girl, I never swayed and before falling pregnant was fine either way. Now I'm actually hoping they wasn't wrong when I go to my scan and he is still a boy!

Thought I'd share my 20 week bump. I was 20 weeks on Thursday and this was taken today (Sunday)

Thanks ladies as I'm still pretty shocked about it but I am way excited about a little Girl I'm just glad to hear all the babies are healthy babies and no complications.
