Oh really? I did not know that!! My blood was taken in the morning for afternoon testing would that make the numbers drop is that what you mean?
I meant that if this little one wasn't going to stick that the numbers would decrease first in the blood. The rest of the hcg would then be excreted via the urine and that's why they might be darker than they were yesterday.
BUT, everything might turn out to be perfectly fine! You might just have low bhcg levels.
oh i see so the test could be darker today even if my levels were dropping?
how do bloods work i mean does a human put the figures in for the dr to read or what>? is it possible it was human error as how on earth can i have a level of 3 and be getting a double darker test today?!!

So i think you should have the levels tested again to see if they are moving up or down. FX for you 5.
Yep I go to pathology tomorrow for repeat blood work to see what they do. What gets me is why would I have such a dark BFP today if yesterday my level was just 3? Could my level today have doubled perhaps and I do have a sticky in there?
No I just noted down the dates I got the "high"s. I ran out of tests though so no idea when I would have peaked or even when I O'd as I was not temping.Quote:

The cramps the last 3 days could be from implantation hey? And if the reading was a 3 yesterday well maybe we were just lucky to have caught the numbers (and a super low faint hpt) on the beginning of the rise.
If your levels were dropping than they would be lower in your blood than in your urine. So they might have been a 3 on your BT but they might be 10, for example, in your urine. It is a bit confusing.
Each pathology place is different so sometimes they are entered in by a person, sometimes it is via a collection/computer system.
5, I really think that is a possibility! You just can't be sure when you O'd. Have you got any lower sensitivity tests? If you used a higher one and it was positive you would know that your levels were higher.
I used FRER but the box does not say how sensitive it is? Wouldnt the hcg be leaving my urine from yesterday if it were not rising? Does that make sense? Hubby is getting more tests. Dr said not to bother with urine tests but meh I have to..

I think FRER has a sensitivity of 10, but I'm not 100% sure.
If it isn't a sticky one... Because hcg enters the blood first and then goes into the urine, it would have taken longer for the hcg to get in the urine. So the level in the blood *may* have initially been higher than a 3 but by the time you had your bloods test done it was down to a 3. Your urine may have been just getting hcg into it when you tested yesterday and then the rest of the hcg that was in your body might have come into your urine today. And then it would slowly leave your urine until there was none left.
Oh good, check with a lower sensitivity one and see what it shows. I said a higher sensitivity in the post above but I meant lower.
But why would today be so dark????
Hubby has bought a FRER just a single test and a CB digital. Should I do the digital in a few hours?

If you had blood taken yesterday and results were a 3 and declining...your bfp was from approx the same time as the bloods. Overnight your test should not be darker...either the same or lighter. The HCG in your urine may be higher than your bloods...but it wouldn't be increasing!
Apparently the average woman has a hcg level of 5 when not pregnant!!
My dr said it should be 0?? :/

Are you really 2 days past expected AF as it shows in your ticker? I would expect AF to be here if your hcg was at 3 yesterday and going down. I would say...DON'T STRESS...until AF shows or tests get darker....test each morning and see what happens. Take prenatal's and relax.
No AF could be due as late as Friday x Not sure about the ticker I just put in my EDD.
I would know in the back of your mind that this may not be it...but relax, remain hopeful and test daily...same time and compare tests and see if AF arrives. Nothing else you can do I guess.
It's confusing to explain and to understand. Where I work we deal with this kind of thing all the time unfortunately :(
As POP said try and relax, and just enjoy being pregnant, because that's what you are at the moment!
If you are 12dpo today then you would be 3 weeks, 5 days pregnant. Maybe your ticker was based on your LNMP and not O date?

I think maybe the BT was too early.
The Dr. told me last month that the hcg levels actually clear out of the blood faster than the urine and that is why I had the +on the hpt when levels have to be 25 to show up on it but my BT was only 10. The farther time goes along you can still get a +hpt but a -BT. BUT, I sure hope that is not the case with you, 5, and that it was just too early and that your numbers will keep increasing!Quote:

Had no time to come back last week and kids are just back to school today.
About my workout well Im damn lazy lol so things are going slow....I have wii sport and fit , zumba too but yeah not really doing it.But finally this weeks we can go out it's not so hot so I go out with the girls and run around and play ball.
