Update: Went to the dr as my back is killing feels like early labour and I have very painful cramping, my hcg is only a 3. Dr said I will most likely start bleeding any day now. I have repeat bloods tomorrow but he said it doesn't look promising

OH, no, 5! That is exactly what happened to me last month...my levels were only a 10 when they first took my hcg (but didn't bother telling me until I started spotting a week later! when they rechecked it then it was down to 0) I know exactly how you feel--heartbroken after just having your hopes up so very high then to have them crushed so quickly. We're all here for you.

Tell me I am not going crazy! So I had 8 bottles of blood taken yesterday ok. I tested BEFORE I went to the dr and got the faint line. Went to dr today and the BT from yesterday said 3. I just did another test now and the line is HEAPS DARKER. Surely if my hcg had dropped to just 3, a preg test would not pick that low a level up?
HPT cant show if it is only at 3 (although the bloods were done yesterday?) let alone get DARKER??!! Can it? Tell me if I'm wrong..

I had 8 vials of blood taken yesterday perhaps it is an error because I had soo many tests.

Forgot to add I have high sugar levels too have to be rechecked every 6 months as I am close to 7 which is cause of concern apparently. All my other tests were normal.

Lola, Hobber I am 8dpo too.. Initially had thought of testing on Sunday (13dpo) but now have moved it forward to Saturday (12dpo).. Cant wait! My boobs feel normal too

I've been cramping today and I'm only 4dpo! Hopeful it is a sign of something? Is it too early for implantation??

I think it's a good sign if the test is getting darker.
I was thinking maybe it was only 3 cause the test was done early thats why I asked how many dpo you were.
FX the BT was done heaps early. Go get another BT to check your levels and see if they are rising.

Ok ladies me again. Your not going to believe this, massive head do-er-in-er-er!!!
So.. I tested again just now. BFP. Line is double as dark as yesterday!!!!
Now...
if my hcg (taken yesterday) was only 3 surely the test today would not be getting darker? Do hpt's even pick up a level that low? Maybe it was human error whoever read the results and put the data in? As I had 8 vials of blood taken that day so there were lots of numbers and tests!
Or.... I am not as far as I have been guessing I am?
Ok 3rd and 4th Jan I got "highs". I had not tested before these dates either. Ran out of tests so assumed that on the 5th Jan I would have got a peak and then O'd on the next day being 6th jan. So I quite possibly am not 12dpo today at all, could be less. I could have O'd days after when I am guessing I would have "peaked".
The cramps the last 3 days could be from implantation hey? And if the reading was a 3 yesterday well maybe we were just lucky to have caught the numbers on the beginning of the rise.

Adding pic. IRL they are much darker! The test today is the top one and is double as dark as yesterday.

(dr told me not to even test but something said to get one anyway on the way home!!)

That line is definitely darker!! Sooo hope your numbers increase

Just bear in mind that hcg leaves the blood quicker than it leaves the urine. So there may be more hcg in the urine than in the blood.
