Sarah, I agree that OPK is 90% positive but I have used those same strips and never got close to that dark, so like stephk, I'm jealous!
I'm on CD8 and yesterday evening I started having intense O pain on my left side! I plan to start my BD every 4 days today, as according to Dr. Jonas (I am rolling my eyes at myself), tomorrow night is when I should conceive a girl. I'm spotting with no CM so I'll be shocked if I actually O so early but it has happened before, plus the Vitex could be responsible.
Good luck with your first attempt Marika, I hope the TWW goes quickly for you. Same for you Sarah as you must be planning to attempt soon as well. Anyone else attempting or expecting to O soon? Of course I've probably jinxed myself and will O even later this month...ughh, so annoyed with delayed O!
Flowergirl, I hope the higher dose of clomid does the trick. What CDs did you take it? I believe illness definitely sways pink and I think being sick can improve your chances of conception, if there is any immune or compatibility issue. Fx for you!
hi ladies, just started my 2WW last night... had a tummy bug for 2 days before predicted O so definitely extremely LE diet for a few days and just getting back to normal appetite last night which was also O day; we did single attempt on Thursday night (OPK test line was as dark as control line) after a release in afternoon to clear out DH's system (missed release day before because I was nearly dead from tummy bug) and by last night I'd dried up again so think our attempt was just before O... hope that plus the low-dose aspirin and LE diet does the trick...
DH's last 4 kids have all been boys (2 with ex 28 & 26 years ago and our 2 in 2011 and 2013) so I'm working against his nature I think :think:
now we wait... first to confirm pregnancy.... then to find out gender

Sarah, mine looked like that but never went any darker - next day it was fainter (is that even a correct word?). I had a massive panic as I thought I'd totally screw up so we did DTD in a hurry... Hopefully this was good enough. Fx

Kitkat, I'm too symptom spotting... I'm sure half of it is created by my crazy mind lol! I'm on cd27 so should know for sure in a few days...
Just realised I was sick and unwell the day before so maybe, maybe.....

I was in a right panic and so cross with myself...I posted on 3 different threads to ask what to do and I was advised to BD ASAP if possible which we did, I thought at least I would still have had one attempt this month and wouldn't feel like it was wasted...

Thank you! We did BD so hopefully I will still catch it. Not in a major hurry as it's our first month trying so another couple of weeks on the diet if it doesn't work won't be too terrible xxx

Welcome treasures mama!! Quick question do you all count ovulation from day after your strongest opk I usually get two ? I'm 8dpo and symptom spotting big time!! Spent half the day sure I was pregnant the other half so sure AF was on her way good luck everyone xxxx

Sarah, how frustrating with the OPKs. I do think it's good you attempted. In the past I've only regretted NOT attempting.
kitkat, I O 12-24 hours after my darkest OPK.
I had a big temp drop this morning and Watety CM since yesterday, all signs of O happening much sooner this month, fx! I wish I'd gone on Vitex back in November.
