Yeah, we don't care what they want name wise, dd2 has my mil's middle name and dd3 has dh's deceased sisters middle name (by their request). DH is a jr and we are definitely not going for a 3rd but my fil thinks the boys must be all his family. And let me tell you they are a legacy worth letting die lol
We've come to expect it. My neighbor cried and hugged me, my mil said oh good. I don't really care as long as long as we get love and support from somewhere. Honestly I'd rather get it from those we see every day then those we try to avoid kwim ?
As for Princessap, she's been having a real hard time with the fact she's not getting pregnant. After m/c her son in Oct she just wants/needs it so much. We m/c at a few days apart at almost the same gestation so we've become loss buddies and have been emailing for months now. I'm going to rat her out though, she finally got her bfp Monday, I told her she should check in but she's so scared.

MFC- I'm all about the fish oil for ewcm, of everything I tried it created buckets for me :)
I've been loving shopping for an actual blue baby, it's so much for fun then hopeful outfits :)
FX for a bfp before your edd, it's a rough day to hit if you're not pregnant.

Begonia, I hope you are doing well with the news, and I am so happy your baby girl is healthy! Congrats! I will tell you, I would give anything for a healthy baby girl. All will be right with the world.....on Father/Son Camping weekend, go get a big ass pink tent and have a Father/Daughter weekend somewhere amazing. There is nothing a boy can do that a girl can't, and I bet all of us have a daughter that qualifies as the tomboy in the family. I do like your strategy of easing him into it and thinking of a girl name, etc. HUGS, you are a lucky girl, B!

Thanks for all the support ladies. I really am good; I would not have done anything differently so it kind of is what it is, KWIM? I don't know that we for sure would have had a 3rd had we had BG already, I probably would have still wanted one more but DH maybe not ... I think the big hope for him was for a boy this time around, but I'm still happy to have her ... whoever she turns out to be :) And I know he will be too. I said it on another thread but one of my best friends lost her 4th child, a 4 year old boy, earlier this year, and I'll be darned if I'm going to spend any more time grieving a son I never even had. At this point in my life I have the perspective to know how very blessed I am.

And as for DH, I figure he's a pretty lucky man to have 4 women who will think the world of him :)

Really, the thing that bugs me most is like I said, all the comments about what a surprise ... another girl ... blah blah blah. My best friends will be amazing but there are so many people who don't mean to be insensitive, but the comments will sting nonetheless, and I know there are lots of you who know exactly what I mean. That's what I am not looking forward to. But I'll deal with it.

Good luck to everyone else! I hope there are lots of blue announcements and bfps soon! I probably will move more to posting to the pg threads (and the TTC girl threads ... Ok ... round 1 of lowering DH's expectations complete, LOL! And as you'll see he really was already pretty low... in a good way given what I know now. He's still at work (going to have to pay for 3 colleges plus weddings, now :rofl:) so we were just talking on the phone.
Me: "Ok so I had a dream last night that we had a girl. And she was born, and we had no name. At all. We called her Three."

Him: "I've been telling you for 4 months now it's going to be a girl; we don't make boys. So yes, we should probably pick a name."

Me: "I know. I just kept thinking, since I've had 2 boy dreams (that is true by the way) that we could maybe bypass it this time. But it definitely could be another girl and I guess I need to get ready for that."

Him: "It is what it is, and whoever it is God chose for us, and it's going to be amazing to have it in our arms next year. But you can't rely on Him to pick a name so yeah, you better start thinking about it. And seriously, just go buy something pink and expensive, you know you want to!"

He really is the best. It's a shame he won't have a son but I couldn't ask for a better man to raise my daughters. And yes, I am crying :tissue:

What a beautiful man!!!! He sounds alot like my DH!!

My girls ADORE their Daddy so so much! And they do boy things too, they are right into footy and they even do martial arts every week =D

Thanks 5, I think he's a catch! And DD1 is taking karate now too! DD2 so far will sit in his lap and watch sports with him so long as he shares his popcorn :) I do agree with what Lola said about girls, the great thing is they can do just about anything!

That they can! And as for the weddings, I told my girls to marry a rich man LOL kidding :P

5 my pics aren't really interesting, I didn't want any gender shots, and she just kept MOVING so much! I'm kind of glad though because if they were really cute I'd have a hard time not showing them off, and since I technically never had the u/s I had today, I need to keep them hidden :)

My next scan is 10/24 so hopefully I'll get a sweet one then!

LOL! I paid for our wedding! We'll only pay for theirs if it doesn't cramp our retirement, KWIM? If we have the funds absolutely, why not! Same goes for college. But really, the only thing my dad ever did for me was pay for my college and it was a great gift to start my professional life with no student loans. So IF we can we do plan to do that for them, but again, not at the expense of our own retirement. As any financial planner will tell you there are loans available for college, but not for retirement!

I paid for everything myself, college, car, wedding the lot!

HOLY CRAP, B! I almost went into labor I was laughing so hard. You are awesome and I can't belive you totally made that up. We just called her "3" is genius. You must just be a riot to be around. I see where you #2 gets it from, it's all you baby! DH rocks too!

Begonia - Congratulations on a sweet baby girl! I have 4 girls myself and I love it! I did the secret scan thing too with #4 and never told DH. Just told him that I felt it was another girl.
