September TTC Boy Chit Chat and Such Thread

Thanks for all the support ladies. I really am good; I would not have done anything differently so it kind of is what it is, KWIM? I don't know that we for sure would have had a 3rd had we had BG already, I probably would have still wanted one more but DH maybe not ... I think the big hope for him was for a boy this time around, but I'm still happy to have her ... whoever she turns out to be And I know he will be too. I said it on another thread but one of my best friends lost her 4th child, a 4 year old boy, earlier this year, and I'll be darned if I'm going to spend any more time grieving a son I never even had. At this point in my life I have the perspective to know how very blessed I am.

And as for DH, I figure he's a pretty lucky man to have 4 women who will think the world of him

Really, the thing that bugs me most is like I said, all the comments about what a surprise ... another girl ... blah blah blah. My best friends will be amazing but there are so many people who don't mean to be insensitive, but the comments will sting nonetheless, and I know there are lots of you who know exactly what I mean. That's what I am not looking forward to. But I'll deal with it.

Good luck to everyone else! I hope there are lots of blue announcements and bfps soon! I probably will move more to posting to the pg threads (and the TTC girl threads ... I clearly have lots of pink dust, LOL) since I don't think I have as much to offer on the sway advice these days But I'll definitely pop in to check on my peeps!

Thanks Flava, It's good news that the spotting has stopped, I think it was just implantation spotting nothing else.

Thank you MFC! I won't LEAVE ... I'm like, totally stuck here, especially since all of you are the only ones who know my secret

I posted this on the pg thread too, but am going to share it here since a big reason I'm glad I found out is so I can make sure DH's expectations are good:

Ok ... round 1 of lowering DH's expectations complete, LOL! And as you'll see he really was already pretty low... in a good way given what I know now. He's still at work (going to have to pay for 3 colleges plus weddings, now ) so we were just talking on the phone.
Me: "Ok so I had a dream last night that we had a girl. And she was born, and we had no name. At all. We called her Three."

Him: "I've been telling you for 4 months now it's going to be a girl; we don't make boys. So yes, we should probably pick a name."

Me: "I know. I just kept thinking, since I've had 2 boy dreams (that is true by the way) that we could maybe bypass it this time. But it definitely could be another girl and I guess I need to get ready for that."

Him: "It is what it is, and whoever it is God chose for us, and it's going to be amazing to have it in our arms next year. But you can't rely on Him to pick a name so yeah, you better start thinking about it. And seriously, just go buy something pink and expensive, you know you want to!"

He really is the best. It's a shame he won't have a son but I couldn't ask for a better man to raise my daughters. And yes, I am crying

What a beautiful man!!!! He sounds alot like my DH!!

My girls ADORE their Daddy so so much! And they do boy things too, they are right into footy and they even do martial arts every week =D
