Hi girls I am relatively new to genderdreaming, going to start diet after Christmas but reading all your posts makes it seem a bit more possible than I had thought. Particularly liking the muller light and skinny cow ice cream suggestions! :-)
I just found this in an article about salt content in bread:
Low salt packaged breads - salt per 100g
M&S Simply More Eatwell Healthiest White Bread - 0.58g
Tesco Stayfresh White Sliced Bread Medium - 0.6g
M&S Eatwell Oaty Bloomer Made With 30% Oats - 0.65g
M&S Toasting White - 0.73g
Sainsbury's Medium Wholemeal - 0.74g
The previous best low-salt bread we'd found was Weight Watchers White Danish - but that has around 1g salt per 100g
actually just checked the details of the Tesco Stayfresh one - per slice it contains about the same amount of sodium (0.1g for the Stayfresh, 0.09g for the WW) but the slices of the Tesco one are more substantial and it contains more calories as a result (which, to me, is good!)
That's really useful, rainbow, thank you!
sorry ive not been on very much that was some stuff called quark its ok i think ive tried to post the link again hope this one works
http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/grocerie...=1315049540366
yay that one worked!!!
Ive tried to stay on the diet as much as possible over the last 6 weeks with the kids off school it has been a little tricky. I have stuck to no breakfast and yoghurt for lunch with ryvitas or crackerbread and eating snack a jacks or toddler crisps if i feel naughty lol and rice/pasta veg for tea with another yoghurt but im struggling with the evenings im not hungry but just picking at things i sould not be eating like doritos (when the kids open a pack and dont finish) i am going to be much better no the kids are due back to school next week
Thanks twinkle. Yes, quark is good (on any diet!). You can get it in Tesco too. Half-fat creme fraiche is good for pasta too.
yes ive had creme fraiche but ive never liked cream but the kids and dh loved it
I'm still enjoying 30g philadelphia light mixed with 10ml baby stock ****s (which are very low sodium) to create a sauce per seving with my pasta! I'm having that with roasted veg and sage.
Half a sachet of Blue Dragon "Peking Lemon stir fry sauce" contains:
80 calories
trace protein
0.4g fat
0.08g sodium
there's quite a lot of others in the range which have 0.25g sodium or less in half a sachet too! so would make a nice treat now and again!
Oh, that sounds good!
Np!
Another one:
Soft and Gentle - aromatherapy de-stress deodorant in lavender and patchouli
Sways with the spray and also the lavender!
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using Tapatalk
spotted this in waitrose but haven't bought it yet:
http://www.waitrose.com/shop/Product...8791-Life+mayo
low sodium mayo!
I've found that Waitrose in general is great for a low sodium shop - lots of things are ok there that are laden with salt in Tesco!!
I took your tip for wait rose filled pasta, I had the mushroom one and it was lovely, that's going to be a regular for me now!
I've not found that pasta yet, I'll have to investigate :)
They're the fresh filled tortellini and whathaveyou - quite a few of the flavours are reasonable on sodium.
I found the mushroom one to be the lowest, I had the whole box!
Hi ladies bellow is a really good guid for uk swayers devised by Sunset. Hope it helps everyone else as much as it's helped me!

Wow thanks! Some very helpful info here! Altho some of the links don't appear to work on my phone for some reason.
Hi, has anyone found a sugar free jam from either tesco or sainsburys?Thansk
We always have raspberry St Dalfour - it's the best jam! They sell it in Tesco.
Thanks guys, will take a trip there tomorrow :-)
Someone recommended the sainsburys frozen rice which has a trace of salt and was very yummy!
Hiya, so if I get the saw pallento from Hollands and Barrett, do I just cut open the capsule and drink the inside to avoid the gelatine in the shell?
Also what does the packaging look like for the sudafed as the link above doesnt work
Also, the B12 says its 100 ug, but I need 150mcg - so Im confused as to what I would take?
Hi everyone, my turn to return the favour.
Sainsburys have 3 for 2 on xmas gifts and they have microwavable lavender warmers, and also hand warmers which once pressed activate heat - going to use those to heat up OH's little friends lol to lower sperm count!
You don't need to worry about the tiny amount of geletin in the Saw Palmetto capsule imo x
chocolate ~ i wouldnt worry too much either about the small amount of gelatine in s/p, just be aware that it could delay your ov if you haven't tried it already. I don't know about the vit b12.. i bought mine from holland & barret
Which low sodium cheeses are people buying?
I didn't eat cheese other than parmesan cheese, couldn't manage to find a low sodium cheese anywhere.
Hi,does anyone know where I can get zyrtec from and benadryl? Any particular ones?
Thanks
You should be able to get them from your local supermarket (ASDA, Tescos, Sainsbury's etc etc)
Thanks Sunset, got some but they were spelt Zirtec but the same thing

Those are my rough calculations (I mean, rough)... so, give or take...
I won't be counting everything every day, though. It would make me go crazy! But I did it on my first diet day out of curiousity. :) Maybe I tried a little too hard today! But with the ratios we have/should stick to, it'd be hard to get everything in balance... as I realize the calories are low.
I keep having to re-edit this post as I have a wriggling toddler nursing and pushing my arm all around!
