swish - it's all so confusing because signs that af is coming are so similar to signs that you're pregnant. I'll keep crossing my fingers for you!
My plan to have a strict diet day didn't work so well. We went to the farmer's market this morning and we ended up getting Moroccan food. I had 1/4 of a Mahajeb (a flat bread stuffed with spinach and feta - I usually eat a whole one for a meal, so I thought maybe 1/4 wouldn't be too awful), and I also had a few unsalted pita chips dipped in very garlicky hummus. I have no idea of the nutritional info of any of it, so I won't be able to keep careful tabs today after all. I think once you break from the diet once or twice it becomes way too easy to cheat...and soon I'm off to the cottage where it's going to be super hard to keep to the diet (though I'm going to try my best).
I am trying hard to stick to my daily routine...Here it is
I get up at 5am do not eat till 11 or 12
Lunch: 2 slices of low cal/low salt bread with a dab of unsalted butter
Dinner: 1 cup of calcium pasta with a lil parm and ms. dash
Snack: air-popped popcorn with a dab of unsalted butter
My drinks are tons of cl and diet pepsi!
oops...I am about to be bad....my boss just bought me a decaf skinny vanilla latte.....at least it is a small one......
I am dying without snacking...I am way under calories with just eating
decaf coffee and a nutrigrain bar 4 hours after I get up
a smal corn tortilla with hummus and zuchini and 2 rice cakes (no salt)
serving or 2 of pasta with ricotta cheese....
smart water or cl
maybe some strawberries/raspberries in between.
HELP!!!!
Here's my day today:
Breakfast: coffee
Lunch: 1/4 of Mahajeb (Moroccan flat bread stuffed with spinach and feta), a handful of unsalted pita chips dipped in gloriously garlicky hummus
Supper: 2 servings of rice pasta with 1/4 cup of low sodium tomato sauce and 20g of parmesan, Weight Watchers lemon cake, 2 Peek Freans Lifestyle Cookies
Snack (3rd meal): light vanilla ice cream, strawberries, raspberries
Calories: 1206
Protein: 33.4g
Sodium: 628.5mg
It turned out to be not too bad a day. I'm not positive on the nutritional makeup of the Moroccan food, but I found some info on a similar thing online that just didn't have the feta, so I added in the nutritional info for the teeny bit of feta that was in it. The only really bad thing I ate was that hummus, which was so garlicky I can still taste it 10 hours and 2 tooth brushings later.
mydream - sorry you're having a rough time. I have trouble getting my calories up, but I've started adding lots of sweets to my day and I'm getting a bit higher. If I eliminate sweets, I end up with 800 calories a day, which I couldn't live on long term. I do snack in the evening a few hours after supper, but I've started to look at it as my 3rd meal (which is allowed on the diet) so I don't stress about it too much. I still have low blood sugar all night and morning, then all afternoon.
