Thank you ladies for you comments. I think my mum is desperate for me to have a DD and has convinced herself its a boy to prevent her own GD!
Glad you're feeling better re the m/s. It's so hard not to have days when the GD kicks in and you're left feeling hopeless about the gender isn't it? I think I was so single-minded on getting to my NT scan just to actually make sure there was a baby in there & I wasn't imagining it (lol!) I effectively buried any doubts about gender. I think I was purposely burying my head in the sand. However, on the night of my scan, I couldn't help but let my fingers lead me to google & nub-guessing! THAT was when the GD set in as I had nothing but my next scan to worry about!Quote:

Thanks for asking how I am. Nausea's finally worn off this week, but heartburn has started to creep in! I am still quite tired and getting headaches occasionally, but I'm glad to be in the second trimester. It's going sooo much quicker than the first trimester!

2lovely...I hope that the weeks fly by for you! I know how long the weeks are when you are waiting for confirmation....being in limboland is a sucky place. I feel finally out of the sticky mental mess I have been in, and now I really can worry about gender, lol...
Charlee....I feel for you right now, I know that you swayed every inch your way for this baby. He is going to be amazing! And feel free to cry, vent and be whatever you need to enjoy this little guy to his fullest.

Charlee, I am sorry you didn't hear pink, but congratulations on your healthy little boy, who is obviously very special and keen to become part of your family. I know it will not be easy all the time as you have swayed so hard, but we are always here if you need to vent or just talk about it.

Dreamofpink, I admire you for having the willpower to not find out until the 20 weeks scan.
As for me, I have my 1st MW appointment booked for a week on Monday. I am nervous, but also excited to see how things are done here in Germany as my last pregnancy and birth happened in the UK.
Charlee, one other thing and I hope it does not sound insensitive. Please let me know if at all or when you feel comfortable with me adding the little blue stork next to your name. I completely understand if you don't want me to at all or are not ready yet. No pressure.

No more spotting here. I do not want a nub shot as won't be able not to obsess. I am not planning to post it here or on Facebook because I want my team green surprise and last time everyone thought we had not found out and lots of people still guessed boy on nub on my Facebook despite me telling them I wanted a surprise (we had actually found out but weren't telling anyone). I really need to have a surprise with this baby. I am fully accepting it is my fourth son and will assume it is until delivery.
Hugs to all. I'm feeling pretty sick and points but eating seems to help. I will be huge at the end of this pregnancy. I always get a massive preggo bum! Tiny bump but massive bum!

GD, as you know, has nothing to do with your love for your boys - after all you were only willing to try for a girl because your other children are so fabulous! It isn't disloyal to them to feel sad. I started a mental list about what I love about boys over girls when I found out DS 2wasnt DD1 - some of then are really silly and totally stereotypical (like boys can pee against trees, boys don't cry as much when they fall over, boys toys are so much cooler, boys don't get PMS and bitch at their menopausal mums) but it helped me at the time.
