If you are swaying girl then it's just dtd once at positive opk. I was on it from day 2-6 the first time I used it and then 3-7 the next cycle (which was this cycle with a BFP). Best of luck :happy:

I agree with Immi! I would start with one attempt at +OPK for a girl - frequent BD sways blue.

From what I understand, days to take it just depends on why you need it. My doc prescribed days 5-9, but I wasn't ovulating at all. I think a lot of people have success starting sooner though (days 2 or 3). Good luck!! :)

I took clomid on 3-7 50 mg. i did every 4 day bd but did once on pos opk. I didnt do much else with it. Atomic doesn't recommend strict sway tactics with clomid. Ovulation ws a bit painful for me. Other than tht all gud

Oh sorry somehow I missed this (if you guys ever have the last post on a page, be on the lookout because I may not see them)

I replied in your other thread about the DTD pattern.

I would have hubby release every 2-4 days unless you are a super huge believer in frequency. The frequency stuff is just getting too poor of results to bother with it when Clomid 'sin the mix.

Days 2-6 is ok. Most take it 3-7 and personally that is what I feel has gotten the best results for us, but it's up to you.

ok thanks for that atomic, what about the time of day you take the tablet? as far as any side effect symptoms, which is best - morning or at night?

Hi Missiz :)

I take the pills at night as I wanted to lessen some of the side effects (or at the very least, as much as I could!). Some ladies don't have any side effects and have no problem taking in the morning. I think the main thing that's important, is that the pills are taken at the same time and that you don't switch from night to morning midcycle.

Also they say the earlier in the cycle you take the more likely you are to release more than one egg but the further along such as 5-9 you produce one better quality egg.

I haven't seen any strong correlation between the days it's taken and twins. I've seen twins on 5-9 and singles on 3-7 and because I think 3-7 works better that is what I recommend. If you want to do EVERYTHIGN to prevent twins I guess it's worth the chance of taking it 5-9, I just feel it's been inferior odds of conception for us.
