Brush everyday and up in pigtails everyday! That really saved DD1 at that age! (Last year). Her hair is strong enough now that it can be left down.

Detangling spray and a brush. Don't cut it! I never cut my girls' hair until probably 3!
Lots of conditioner and de tangling spray! Good luck, it's a never ending battle! I threaten to cut off all my girls hair all the time!!!
I hear ya! My daughter doesn't have a lot of hair, but she does have fine curly ends that get tangled easily. I've found that the Honest Co. conditioning detangling spray and a small boar bristle brush work wonders! The spray is pricey at $6 for a small bottle, but I've found you don't need much and it works well on my daughter's hair and for freshening up my own. You can find it online or at Target. Good luck!
conditioner during bath time is the trick for us. not on the scalp, just on the ends of the hair. we also use a wide-tooth comb:)
My DD is 6 and STILL has her fine baby hair. She (and I) can't wait until she has what she calls "pony tail hair". Her baby hair grows soooooo sloooooooow. It actually turns crusty...yes crusty...if we forget conditioner during bathtime. I don't recommend the spray in conditioners, personally, they just make it look greasy. The Wet Brush is a godsend.
Conditioner after washing, a detangle spray and little clips until long enough for pigtails :)
Welcome to the joys (horror ;) ) of girls hair. I'm taming 5 little heads a day ;)
My ds2 has lovely wavy hair below his shoulders & I slap the conditioner on the ends of his hair every time I wash it. It stops it from getting knotty. My Mum used to plait my hair every night before bed. ;)

I can't wait to have this problem ;)
Thank you guys all so very much!!! My husband keeps suggesting a haircut and I am not ready for that yet LOL
Get the wet brush from Sally's its cheap and works so good!!
Thank you so much everyone who chimed in, it really helped. My husband bought her some conditioner (never even crossed my MIND to put conditioner on her hair DUH!!) And I remembered I had a teflon detangler brush from when I worked as a dog groomer (thoroughly cleansed, of course) and it's really made a huge difference.

Atomic she is adorable! I could only view the first photo:(
She looks like maybe she is a "sour patch kid", sour one minute then sweet in a blink of an eye!

hmm, I don't know what happened, I'll delete them. Suffice it to say she looked very cute when done.

OMG she is soooooo cute! I can only see the first pic too, but love her wild hair! My sister wouldn't let anyone near her hair as a toddler and developed a huge dread lock at the back. I tease her about it to this day, she hates it!
I want to see the after pic! She is so damn cute in the before pic!
