For TTC a boy you just want more nutrient dense foods. Not carbs per se or fat per se, just more nutrition all around.
The reason why we have protein and carbs together is to stabilize blood sugar and keep it from dropping between meals.
Fat/saturated fat/cholesterol is certainly something to have, but that's not the ONLY thing in the diet you're meant to eat more of and it's certainly not a "high fat foods only" diet. You can eat lots of different types of foods to get a wide variety of nutrietns.
